Which terminal is my flight?
Madrid-Barajas (airport code MAD) has four terminals. Your terminal depends on the airline, not the destination — here's a quick guide for U.S. travelers:
- T1 — Most non-Schengen and low-cost carriers: JetBlue, United, Delta (some routes), Air Europa transatlantic, easyJet.
- T2 & T3 — Short-haul Schengen and regional flights. Rarely used by long-haul U.S. arrivals.
- T4 — Iberia and Oneworld short/medium-haul, plus check-in for T4S long-haul.
- T4S (satellite) — Long-haul Iberia and American Airlines from the U.S. arrive here. A shuttle train connects T4S to T4, then to your driver.

- Inside Madrid city (M-30 ring): a regulated flat rate to or from Barajas, set by the city — the same for every licensed taxi.
- Outside the city or private day service: a fixed quote we agree with you before you book. No meter surprises, no surge.
- Payment: cash (euros), Bizum, or a secure card link (Visa / Mastercard / Amex) sent by WhatsApp or email. Tipping is appreciated but not required — this is Spain, not New York.
