Madrid Mobility Group is what happens when someone who has spent fifteen years turning small businesses into refined, well-run brands decides the taxi sector deserves the same treatment. We are starting in Madrid — with a very clear plan for what comes next.
Sami is a Syrian-born entrepreneur who has lived, studied and worked across several countries and continents before settling in Madrid. He graduated in International Business from Saint Louis University (Madrid Campus) and holds a double Master's in Business Administration and Law from IE Business School.
For the last 15+ years he has done one thing consistently well: take businesses in traditional, fragmented sectors and rebuild them into unique, optimised brands. Along the way he has been a franchise owner and operator of restaurants in Doha, Qatar — Eggspectation, the Canadian all-day breakfast brand, and Shakespeare and Co., the UAE-born café concept — founder of SHAVE Barbers & Spa in Spain, a hospitality-led barbershop concept that redefined a tired category, and an active real-estate investor across Madrid.
Madrid Mobility Group is the natural next chapter: applying the same operating discipline, brand-building instinct and service standards to a taxi sector that has, frankly, been standing still while multinational apps eat its lunch.

Ran Eggspectation (Canadian all-day breakfast brand) and Shakespeare and Co. (UAE-born café concept) franchises in Doha — his first hands-on schooling in service standards, unit economics and team-building.

Founded in Madrid in 2018. Turned a commoditised barbershop category into a premium, hospitality-first brand with a franchise footprint reaching the Gulf.

Why now
Modernising a sector that stopped competing
The Madrid taxi trade has been losing ground to multinational apps for years — not because it lacks capable drivers, but because it stopped treating the customer as the centre of the product. We are building the opposite: modern vehicles, English-speaking chauffeurs by default (Arabic on request), fixed transparent pricing, corporate invoicing, and the operational polish more common in hotels than in taxis.
