Urgent Passport and Document Delivery in Madrid
Documents are the most common express job we run, and almost always for the same three reasons: something was left behind at a hotel or apartment, a notary or consulate needs an original today, or a contract has to be signed in a different part of the city within the hour.
None of those situations survive a next-day parcel service. Here is how to handle each one calmly.
Passport left at the hotel before a flight
First, check your airline's check-in cut-off, not your departure time — that is your real deadline. Then call the hotel and ask reception to place the document in a sealed envelope with your name on it.
We collect from reception and deliver to you at the terminal, or to any address in Madrid. Because the driver goes direct and knows the terminal layout, an airport document run is usually the fastest option available inside the city.
Originals for a notary, consulate or court
Spanish notaries and consulates routinely require original documents, and appointment slots are rarely rescheduled quickly. Send us the collection address, the exact office address and the appointment time; we plan the pickup backwards from the deadline.
The item stays with one driver for the whole trip and is handed to the named person you designate — never left at a front desk unless you explicitly authorise it.
Contracts between offices
For signature rounds between offices we can do a collect-wait-return run: the driver takes the contract, waits while it is signed and brings the original back to you the same afternoon.
This is often cheaper and far faster than two separate courier bookings, and you keep the chain of custody with a single named driver.
How to make the delivery secure
Use a sealed envelope, never a loose folder. Give us the recipient's full legal name and ID number so the driver can verify who they are handing it to. Do not send cash or bank cards inside document envelopes.
If the contents are confidential, say so on the request form — the driver keeps the envelope in the cabin and hands it over personally rather than placing it in the boot.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you deliver a passport to Madrid-Barajas airport?
- Yes. Tell us your terminal and check-in cut-off time and we plan the collection so the document reaches you before the desk closes.
- Will the driver keep the envelope confidential?
- Yes. The envelope stays in the passenger cabin with one named driver and is handed only to the recipient you named, after an ID check.
- Can you pick up from a hotel reception without me being there?
- Yes, with the sender's authorisation. Ask reception to hold a sealed envelope under your name and confirm that in the request form notes.
