Express Courier in Madrid: Private Same-Day Delivery Explained

Standard parcel networks are built for volume: your item is scanned, sorted at a depot, loaded with hundreds of others and delivered whenever the round reaches your street. That works for online shopping. It does not work when a signed contract, a passport or a set of apartment keys has to be somewhere in the next two hours.

Our express courier service is the opposite model. One vehicle, one driver, direct from collection point to recipient with no depots, no sorting and no handovers between staff.

How a private express delivery actually works

You submit the request form with the sender's and recipient's full details, what is being transported, its declared value and the pickup date and time. We confirm the flat price on WhatsApp before anything moves.

The driver collects at the agreed address, keeps the item in the passenger compartment for the whole journey, and hands it directly to the named recipient, who shows ID on delivery. You get a confirmation message with the delivery time.

What we carry — and what we cannot

Typical jobs: contracts and notarial documents, passports and residence cards, laptops and hard drives, suitcases and hand luggage, apartment or car keys, medical prescriptions and samples, product samples for a meeting, and forgotten personal items.

We cannot transport cash, weapons, narcotics, live animals, hazardous or perishable goods, or anything requiring a special licence. Everything must be legally owned by the sender and accurately declared on the form.

Why the same-day window matters in Madrid

Madrid runs on appointment slots: notaries, consulates, hospital admissions, airport check-in cut-offs, court filings. Missing a slot by twenty minutes can cost you a week. A dedicated driver lets you plan around the actual clock instead of a delivery window.

Because the route is direct, city-centre deliveries are usually completed within a couple of hours of collection, and airport runs are timed against your flight rather than against a depot schedule.

Pricing, insurance and paperwork

Pricing is a flat quote based on distance, urgency and time of day — agreed in writing before pickup, with no per-kilo surcharges. We issue a full VAT invoice for company accounts.

The sender declares the value of the item on the request form, which is what determines liability limits under Spanish land-transport rules. For very high-value items we will tell you honestly when a specialist insured carrier is the better choice.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can you collect a parcel in Madrid?
For central Madrid we can usually have a driver at the pickup address within 60–90 minutes of confirming the request, subject to availability.
Do you deliver outside Madrid?
Yes. We run express deliveries to Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Valladolid and other cities in central Spain, as well as long-distance runs on request.
Does someone have to sign for the delivery?
Yes. The named recipient shows an ID document and confirms receipt, and we send you a delivery confirmation with the time.
